This is suitable for anyone who is thinking through options and next steps in their career. They may be an individual who finds themselves considering taking on a leadership role, or they may be at a point when they are considering which role best suits them.
Client-centred coaching supports through:
- clarifying intentions and goals
- considering options and weighing them up
- making decisive and well-considered choices, and
- having confidence moving forward.
Each coaching session is for one hour and is 1:1 with the coach. As the coaching takes place online through Teams, the appointments can be made at times that suit the client and can take place where it is convenient.
As you might expect, all discussions between the client/middle leader and the coach are confidential. This coaching gives the client the opportunity to talk things through in a structured way, leading to a conclusion which will inform the client’s decision. Coaching does not offer solutions; it gives the client the time and space to problem-solve, consider the best way forward, decide which option to take, and plan to enact the decision they make.
Coaches assigned will have a minimum of four terms’ supervised experience of 1:1 leadership coaching within a school setting.
